Getting to know the Elephant in the Room

Race is everywhere right now. Kneeling athletes, a dog whistling President, and smoldering anger surround us. San Antonio Spurs Coach Gregg Popovich had an interesting line in a press conference addressing the recent NFL protests: "We still have no clue what being born white means." This is true more than we can know - and it applies to all of us. Nowhere in our education or culture are we given space to explore what it means to be white, black, or anything in between.

Whether you're puzzled at why athletes are mixing sports with politics or ready to leave the country in protest, these meditations are for you. Our teachers will guide practices that allow us to explore our unique sense of racial identity - because it's only from cultivating a relationship with our own racial identity can we start to understand the experiences of others and how to bring justice and peace into our culture and politics.

This is a unique series and we want to create an intimate environment to explore these issues. We're extending an invitation to the first 100 people who sign up to receive the meditations and opportunities for conversations with our teachers. It's an incredible opportunity for us to get feedback on these types of practices, so we're offering this to you totally free. Sign up now!
